FAQs:
Do I Need an NMO?
If you want to sell Medicare and/or individual and family plans, you are likely going to need to work with an NMO. Today, most carriers require agents to contract under a National Marketing Organizations (NMOs). An NMO’s job is to recruit, train & support agents to sell various insurance products. You get paid by the carrier when you sell a plan; and then the carrier also separately compensates your NMO.
Keep in mind that not all NMO are created equal, and neither is the support they provide! The right NMO partner can significantly impact your future sales. If you never sell a plan, you won’t make any money and neither does your NMO. That’s why we provide the service & support you need to succeed. If you’re successful, then we’re successful! Let’s be legendary together!
How much does it cost to work with an NMO?
NMOs get paid by the carriers to support agents in selling the insurance products they offer. In theory, no NMO should charge a partner for service or support. Unfortunately, there are NMOs that charge for services and/or require their agents to meet certain criteria to become eligible for services.
The reality is we are in this together and we don’t get paid unless you do. That’s why ALL of Berwick’s services and support for agents are available at no cost! There are no extra charges, no minimum sales requirements or contracts. Berwick’s services and support is available from day one!
